Dream

To speak a dream is the easiest thing, Quick is the wish, but bitter the sting, Of shattered hope and lost ambition, All victims of the cynics attrition. They say aim low, be grateful your lot To hope is to lay yourself open to fall, To be content with whom you are, And not to stretch desire to far. But who are they to tell you to fear, They are the face of reality’s sneer, Embittered souls who seek to tether, The wings of hope which spread free on their brother. But aim your desire toward the sky, Set your dreams don’t live their lie, Follow your thoughts, not the rules they give, It’s your life alone, yours to live. Live free as a thought, Live wild as the wind, Live life as you please, Just live out your dream.this is a bit cheesy, but its a song...and on a CD! this guy in Holland got it of my friend Jamie who gave it to him whilst he was travelling. when the dutch guy returned to Holland, he put it to music and its on their album. n English, not Dutch.
