Trivial Things
By tgb
The one I love has left me gone far in the arms of another man she took her stuff and left a note no goodbye kiss no parting sorrow just empty bed and dusty wardrobe. Now my house seems empty of laughter and tears all the tokens of togetherness severed, save the trivial abandoned a half used tube of toothpaste her crossword book, all puzzles done a “wild thing” T-shirt left on the line. I smell her still, her perfume it lingers wantonly in the air her scent on the pillow onto which I can shed no tears I feel unmanned, like I have lost a limb we were so deeply woven alone, can I again beginPlease excuse the depressing nature of this...i was at the time...depressed.
