What moment

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

What moment in life if one you could only have would you live within for pleasure or purgatory for love or for sin your first kiss an innocent passion shared or a drunken fumble at a party in the little room beneath the stairs the birth of your son who brought stability and joy whose first word, dada, lit the room for you though nobody heard, just you and your boy for me it was the time my soulmate, my forever companion told me, I love you in that moment, of perfect pure euphoria will I live I only wait for when it comes.
