so it was nighttime- that's where the beginnings end, swirl with the face of the moon on still waters & flee to become another day equine the girl's colt legs upon her shivering return the chrysalis we built of kind words was now running in rivulets of colors meshed & mixed like mingled blood in separate veins transluscent twilight the introspective boy who waited twiddling his thoughts like an army of broken thumbs is now a part of that night the people the crowd the voice united like a river snake their way past the bristling lines of blue soon the still waters stir with a feast for the sharks look out below the children have become restlessI saw a peace march where some of the marchers got out of hand and started throwing garbage at the police who were watching over the whole thing. The police got out of hand and started throwing fists, batons, flash grenades, and tear gas at the assembly. So much for a peace march.
