Rejoice for Messiah!

By The Walrus

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

King of Glory---Human baby, One and the same. Lying in a humble manger, Jesus His name. Angels singing--shepherds bowing, star shining bright, oh rejoice for Messiah is born on this night, oh rejoice for Messiah is born on this night. Mary ponders, all the wonders, sent from above. Sitting by her baby's cradle, wraps Him with love. Swaddling garment, cuddled infant, star shining bright, oh rejoice for Messiah is born on this night, oh rejoice for Messiah is born on this night. Gold and essence, for His presents, brought from the East. Kingly treasures for the Baby, laid at his feet. Wise men visit, paying tribute, star shining bright, oh rejoice for Messiah is born on this night, oh rejoice for Messiah is born on this night. Jubulation, celebretion, star shining bright, oh rejoice for Messiah is born on this night!unknown, Written September 15th, 1993 © on Dec 31 2001 07:47 AM PST   20 • 0 • 13
