Childhood Memories
By TinasHeart
Childhood Memories There's the laughter of a child, gentle, pure and sweet; pretend rose patterned china, filled with a special treat. A tierra fashioned of flowers, a pretty pink princess gown, all dressed up and waiting for my prince to come around. Playing house in make believe home, baby dolls to dress up and love, rocking them and singing to them in a voice tender as a dove. Crayons and coloring books, a big fluffy teddy bear to cuddle, entertaining circle of special friends a tea party, gathering in a huddle. As I look back on childhood memories, I see not much has changed. I'm still the same, only all grown up. My life by divine order was arranged. I have real china now to entertain. Now, I play in a real house with my own children to love and hug, awaiting my prince, who is now my spouse. I am glad to be the woman I am. No longer hopes of future dreams, now I live my dreams to the fullest, in my eyes, youthful mirth still gleams. ©TinasHeart 01/07/02 Written January 7th, 2002 © on Jan 07 2002 05:34 PM PST 18 • 0 • 12
