Don't Awaken Me

This poem is written for only one man, my husband and the love of my life. Don't Awaken Me Lying calmly in my bed at night, Peaceful sleep draws me nigh, I feel just like a gliding kite, as I float into the starry sky, drifting off into a lover's dream, that takes me to a beautiful place, where our love is taken to extreme, as we lie in one another's embrace. Here, there is only you and I. Our loving union is so intense, my cries echo in the midnight sky. You passionately arouse my senses. Your love is all I will ever need, no one but you can make me whole. With you my past lonliness recedes for you deeply carress my soul. Our love reaches to new heights, here in this secret, fantasy place, exceeding the greatest of all delights ever written across time and space. Then as my sleepy eyes open, I see, this is not just a mystical dream, for you are really here with me. as wonderfuly surreal as it may seem. As our love erupts in Heavenly bliss, I wonder to myself if ever two souls have shared a spiritual love like this, two parts that together make a whole?
