Hear The Hopeless Cries
By TinasHeart
Hear the Hopeless Cries Hopelessness abounds in the world today. A heart cries out for deliverance, the body demands yet another fixation, yearning to escape addiction's hold, yet seeing no other way. Desiring the affection Father never showed, is a young girl molested at a tender age. Her innocence robbed, she grows up too fast. She seeks for love but only finds lust from the many men who use her, loneliness her only abode. Tonight a man shivers from the bitter cold. No sheltering protection to enclose him, he lays his head against the cold pavement of a darkened alley, fearing for his life. He's lost his job and the things of old. A small child goes to bed hungry, while Mother cries herself to sleep. She sees no hope within reach. Her husband left them with nothing. Can you hear their desperate pleas? Will we turn the other cheek, or take the light into a darkened world? Do we hear their hopeless cries? Will we lend to them a helping hand, to show the love they so desperately seek? ©TinasHeart3/28/2001 Written October 22nd, 2001 © on Oct 22 2001 09:55 AM PST 18 • 0 • 12
