Love's Afterglow
By TinasHeart
This poem is written for only one man, my husband, Principe De Amor Love's Afterglow I emerge from sleep, covered by the blanket of your love. You loved me through the night, your touch still lingers, with thoughts of you, lingering in the corners of my mind. You light my nights with a fire that touches into my soul, soulful words of love within my ears, whispered seductively, seducing me with light, feathery caresses on my skin. The warmth of your breath on me makes me shiver in delight. Delightful, warm kisses searching every part of my body, with bodies glistening in the heat, we entwine in unison. Waves of ectasy thrill my quivering body with pleasure. Pleasing you is what I long to do, just as you have done. I'd do anything to hear you say you know my love is true. Snuggling your pillow closely, I linger in the memory, savoring the sweet taste of the afterglow of your love. ©TinasHeart 03/28/02 Written March 28th, 2002 © on Mar 28 2002 02:40 PM PST 18 • 0 • 8
