Fire, Earthquakes & Hell
By trayseelynn
Can you feel it? Can you hear it? The buildings falling to the ground. The trimbling of the earth shaking in fear? Water falling down from big grey clouds Like tears from the earth afraid of snapping into little puzzle pieces. People runnig around like ants out of town. House of dirt in cracks of driveways I can see the red flames, Could it be Satan with throbing temples, His face so red with hatred with horns so piercing long that they rip the clouds causing them to fall bleeing with the blood of eternity I feel the ground crying, praying, hoping feeling That God will come out of the darkness and save it, save us As I lie in the street of Hell, someone picked me up. The darkness getting lighter, The whole world getting clearer and clearer As God tipped the world over and Satan fell into a sea of fire We will forget the hell that can't, won't and never shall reign over God and his children.I wrote this poem when I was 16 as a project for a class in highschool. I know it isn't perfect, but my teacher never gave me a grade.. I just wanted to know what ppl thought. Written January 30th, 1992 © on Jan 31 2002 08:56 AM PST 0 • 13
