Don't They Do
By Treas
I look up I walk around Once I jump I won't be found Unless someone does know My thought out plan Of where I will go To jump and land I just need one hand In this life of mine To reach out, and help me stand Someone who would be ever so kind But it seems that no one does want To help me at all All they do is tease and taunt It's such a long fall It may be worth it It might not at all I will at least admit It's quite a hard call If someone would say something nice I might have learned Life has no price It would take just one word But they never, ever said Not one thing So here is where my life was led So now the end I will bring I walk to the cliff From which I will fall Soon my soul will lift After I hit the horizontal wall Right as I walk to the ledge I heard someone say "Please don't walk off the edge" Something inside me told me to obey I walked away, trembling with tears Thought of what would be left behind Leaving the people I'd known for years All the thoughts ran through my mind I am glad I made the choice About what I didn't do Because again I heard that voice "People really do love you."
