Moods

By Triphazard

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I'm really in a depressing mood today   it's very hard to understand   what inner turmoil my mind has invented   that my heart can not withstand The mind has an unanswerable question   only the heart could actually see   by having a vivid imagination   I dream of how things could be So many unyielding circumstances   have caused me to realize   how the true inner emotions   cannot survive in disguise Anything less than everything   cannot seem to gratify   the longing of my inner self   with its needs to satisfy I have now become elated   my inner self is finally free   to learn, to love, to understand   this person I'll call me Written October 20th, 2001 © on Oct 20 2001 03:49 AM PST   0 • 1
