Untitled
I just can't read the text That the world has provided, And I can't speak the verse That leaves it divided. My heart swims in sorrow Against currents of tears, And the picture once gloried Now crumbles and smears. I hear the music Of the precarious song, But find fear in the wisdom That the lyrics preach wrong. And when closing my eyes Is my weapon of choice, I find that their weapon Is the theft of my voice So I sit in my grave, Awaiting some Light. Perhaps Wrong's blunder May harvest some Right.Sorry I don't have the Dr. Suess qualities that some of you have, but I was in a rhymey mood. I think 9-11 is gonna stick with us awhile. I know it will me. Written October 15th, 2001 © on Oct 15 2001 03:47 PM PST 0 • 10
