Your Birthday

Your birthday is coming up. And I don’t know what to get you. I don’t know what would make you happy. I only wish I did. So for your birthday, I will give you what I can. I will give you friendship. I will give you support when you are falling. I will give you a shoulder to cry on. I will give you no pressure, I will give you all the love I can. Without going over the line. I will try to detach myself from you. I will pull back. And leave you alone. I will do what you want me to do. I will give you anything I can I would give you my life. I’m not sure you would want it.
