Seeing with my mind and not with my eyes, Sleepwalking through life I scream. The vociference makes me alert again. Exiting the womb of delusion, Visiting a place from the past, I breathe in gasps of air purified by a transparent mind. The opaqueness has vanished, Leaving me in solitude, To taste the bitterness of almonds, And the excitement of lima beans. I still feel you. The mist of your cloud descends upon me, Shades my reason, Undresses my thought, Like a surreal shower, When I hang up my towel. My hair stands tall again; soldiers on my flesh, Engaging in war, Resolutely prepared to battle the invited enemy. Written April 14th, 2002 © on Apr 14 2002 03:11 PM PST   18 • 0 • 1
