Patience Is A Two-edged Word

By vrsmulator

(Rev. 13:10 & 14:12) Sweet as honey to my tongue, And as pure, are these words Bitter to my belly's keep And its lodging hire; "Here is the patience of the saints" - Once the taste of grace descends, Life is fleeting in our wounds While Judgemnet is everlasting; And,"Here is the patience of the saints" - From glory first to glory last, Conscience is beating at our breast Instead of Judgement's blasting; So, standing first to testify Against my heals, I will thirst After Love's amber dawn With a lasting fire.
