You Stand

By walkersway

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

My moods shift like the tides and yet you stand with me against all reason. Beyond thought and selflessly you stand with all your friends and lover While others say run still you stand My words may elevate you to a level beyond compare still they are only words and actions are where feelings can be seen And yet my words can be scary and still you stand Your passion and energy is immeasurable Your simpilcity and wisdom is the voice I need to hear And you stand Your love and friendship is what I seek it is clarity in my murky waters you stand as my beacon I drown in uncertainty and you stand as my preserver You stand so I don't fall So I stand beside you or no where at allThis is about a friend who has stuck by me through all of life's mishaps.
