Basal Melting Point

By wardicus

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Sitting here peeling back time, Wading through vagueness, Drowning in faceless facts, Browning in fluorescent lights,  Since the winter days (misnamed) are almost night.  Knowledge, snowy glaciers, pile in valleys of memory, and mountains of madness, persistence. (Dreams of Dali and experience.)  During the winter days (misnamed) that are almost night.  Leave some remnant of your stay. A marker that will last, a token of your flowing past  After the winter days (misnamed) that were almost night.  Written January 14th, 2002 © on Jan 15 2002 04:15 AM PST   0 • 10
