A Moment

By Whisper Mckee

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Walk with me, Hear my cause, Stop to listen, Just a tiny pause. Days are filled, With work-a-day things, We never talk, Or have mutual exchange. I feel like we're losing, Each other here in the dark, That we are vacating, Places inside the heart. Stop all the rushing, Your moving to fast, Life is nothing without love, Because only love will last. Look at the wonders, God trys to show, The things he deems important, Believe me he knows. Hug all your children, Kiss your lover at the door, What'a few moments, Hopefully you'll have more. Treat each moment, As if they are few, I promise you'll gain, Much more than you'll lose.
