Life Awaits
Time and tide, Speed on salty winds, Do we let things pass, Chance that may not come again. The world turns so fast, As we learn even more, But with every new thing, Do we close another door. Are we so busy searching, Playing seek and find, That we overlook, What was here all the time. I don't mean to say what's needed, Wouldn't know what you lack, But be careful not to overlook, Something you can't change back. Yet remember life is ever changing, Like Earth, wind and tide, Complete and yet ever growing And from life one cannot hide Written November 27th, 2001 © on Nov 27 2001 12:58 PM PST, Phyllis Thompson 0 • 12
