Renewal
The rain pours, Across her skin, Clothes clinging, Shape revealed, Lifting her hand, The knife glints, Caught in lightening, Then blood mingles, With the rain. The earth opens, In hunger. It is finished, Tongue flicks, The blood, From her palm. She lifts her face, Excepting kisses, Of the rain. Pact renewed, With mother Earth.
