Our passion for poetry

By whisperingchippewa

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Our passion for poetry lives on, Me and my daughters special bond. My oldest has that poetry knack you can bet, My youngest is following right in her foot steps. My little one listens to her big sister read aloud, and says I'm going to be like you some how. She loves the way her sister can so easily compose, A little envious but she will too someday she knows. At six she runs into the house with a rhyme in her head, I jot it down so we won't forget what the little one has said. You can surely see the two of them have the same blood, As they both have such imaginations I truly love. Debra DeLong 2001 I feel the breeze, in the trees. I just I must just say, hey what are you doing today. My foot is falling out of the tree, oh oh I feel the bees.
