By whitedove55

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

There's a Wombat in my garden as big as big can be He showed him self tonight scared the life right out of me. Now I knew I had some Wombats that's expected round these parts But one as big as this he gave me quite a start. Lucy my little dog in a barking frenzy was she So fearless me torch in hand goes to have a look see. Much to my dismay Wombat and I are face to face Both frozen on the spot then I bolted with great haste. Three foot long Two foot wide a foot and a half he stood I watched from behind the screen sure I'd be his dinner if he could. Now I know he's there I'll keep looking all the while For to be a Wombats dinner let me say is not my style. Written February 26th, 2002 © on Feb 26 2002 10:41 AM PST   0 • 10
