The City Not So bad

By whitedove55

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Well here I am in the city With not a cow in sight No Kangaroo's or Wombats No Fox's or Owl's at night. I met up with those traffic light That scare the life out of me Oh how I longed to go home To sit under the old willow tree. Terrible thoughts I had Of three days computer free That even worse than the lights I know quite mad I then would be. Joy oh joy guess what I found That beaut Daughter in law of mine Surprised me with a computer This girl to me is so very kind. Now Son your Mum won't be to long We still have lots and lots of time Just let me have a play here I realy need to write some rhyme. I guess three days of traffic lights Won't be so terribly bad at all With my Darling son and Daughter in law And a computer at my beck and call.
