Prayer for the Unknown
I saw a picture of your body on the ground. I did not know you personally, only as kin. A part of the same race as I; human. You are etched in my mind. I try to throw your memory away, but it is there forever. I think about your family and wonder how they are dealing with the loss of you. Praying they will be able to put the sadness behind them somehow. I'm sure your life was good. I hope you now have everything you've always wanted in this lifetime. I'm sure you weren't expecting your life to end the way it did by just going to work one day. I cry for you and your family. Goodbye my brother we shall meet again someday and maybe then we can find the peace we've been searching for all along. Written September 30th, 2001 © on Sep 30 2001 06:51 AM PST 10 • 0 • 1
