The Fall
By Willow34645
I think I love him, But I'm not too sure; I only think about him, Just the way we were. Laying there upon the couch, Content with our company; Arms holding one another, Our love out for all to see. When I'm with him, I am myself, I can be no other way; His presence makes me happy, His smile lights up my day. He would never break my heart, right? He loves me just too much; He'd never dream of leaving me, 'Cause he would miss my touch. He wrote me a poem, he got to me, He touched my heart like no other; I want to give him my heart so bad, But I'm afraid to even bother. What if he breaks it? Just smashes it in two? Who am I to turn to then? Just what am I to do? I'm not afraid to be in love, That's not the point at all; I'm more afraid of the sudden stop, Than thinking of the fall.
