I know who I am
By willowsight
Eyes that see what others can't, The goddess sings to my heart her beguiling and loving chant. The goddess within brings out my soul, Blessed Be for her for my life seemed as black as coal. The goddess bathed in moonlight harkoning to her magic call, Powerful and all knowing in her shadow I feel so small. She brings my lonliness and desperate soul the essence of her being, To a glimmering harmony that lights my way as shows me my future for my wellbeing. She lets me see that she'll be there each dark and tattered day, to discard away all my anger and throw my fears away. She envelopes me in her watchful eye like a mother cares for her child, As moonbeams shoot through my soul I know my life has been restyled. So to her and Jesus I know that my life can be sublime, If I enjoy each blessed day and simply take my time. BLESSED BE/AMENI hope that people like this poem because it is very special to me because of what I have been through in my life. I owe everything I have to Jesus and everything I am as a person to the Goddess. Written March 8th, 2002 © on Mar 07 2002 05:25 PM PST 18 • 0 • 13
