I have but one gift to give you that is mine alone to give. It is the gift of my love, for as long as we both live. If my love could equal money, it might mean much more to you. But, my love is a safe harbor you can always come home to. If my love could equal freedom, you would surely fly away. Trust me, my love is freedom. You will never be forced to stay. If my love could equal power, you would take it in a rush. The only power I offer is the certainty of my trust. If my love could equal happiness, I would wrap it right away. I can only offer my smile to cheer you every day. If a poor man has only a penny, to him it is everything. A deaf man would trade all his worth to hear a mockingbird sing. We all value different things, we see things in different ways. My love is the most precious thing my heart can give away. If sometimes the words "I love you" don't mean too much to you, Remember it's all I have to give, and I've chosen to give it to you.
