Dance of the River
By WolfsWhisper
It flows on forever, The ripples they wave. It whispers to me like it’s calling my name. The sun shines down and it winks at me, Calming my nerves and setting me free. I become one with the water I let myself go. I become one with the ripples and with that I grow. We dance under the sunlight sparkling bright. The sun begins setting as day gives to night. I return to my place in my body. I stand up and stretch feeling renewed. I then turn towards the river and whisper thank you. I have learned much today, How to flow like a river, To bend any which way. No matter the issue, Or the hardship to be faced, I’ll always remember you good river, And I’ll dance with your grace.
