I love-th thee,But I cannot say a word.Afraid thou wilst be a memoryNever again to be heard.Afraid that thine feelings Might demand thee to go away,But, if thou hearest my heart pounding,It begs thee to stay.Three humble words to theeI dare not mention,For they do not compareWith thine heart's affection.
