Sons and Daughters
By yolanda
Sea, that swallows tormented souls, Hears a dismal plea to be free. Sons and daughters of despair Escape into eternity. The sea is cursed who took the souls. Cries of the proud and noble grows. Known spirits dwell and have a just rebirth; Flaming fires cannot rage without quinching thirst. The bloody thirst of man captured and sold; The truest of the blue sky whose blood flowed; The bravest of heart's cry - Oh how it showed! They were once strong but now no bodies stands. Their cries once could be heard across the land; Residual cries in the empty bowels of man. Humanity shall suffer till the end of all days; Cold heart has brought greatest misfortune, Here, to stay. Turn eyes not away from this terrifying truth - Tell all who listen, tell of the souls and teach the youth! Written February 22nd, 2002 © on Feb 22 2002 01:58 AM PST 0 • 1
