Roomies (poem for a friend)

Life often throws so many things at you, and only some things, not often, one can avoid, or even think they can go on, if ever they make it through, while other things can hit you but you never really know, if you made a mistake or it was the right thing to do... One change in my life was that of College, when I had to learn to share space with colleagues, at first it wasn't easy and sometimes not fun, but with sincerity and honesty, we fixed what was wrong... They were my European girls, dear Carro and Nicky, whose friendship was so dear and I know would last a lifetime, we went out to parties in a few different cities, and even throwed our own and invited the masses... We studied together, we spent time in the gym, we sang Karaoke and even liked the same guys, and though we were roomies, we became friends after, so leave with no regrets cause I would do it all again...
