Biblical Loving

Biblical Loving In the beginning, I was void darkness moved across my surface chill air was the atmosphere around me The light of your eyes and the warmth of your smile touched me it was as if the heavens had opened, your angelic voice brought the rain of tears that separated the dryness in my throat and heart oceans of desire soon moved upon me your kiss was not that of Judas as lips parted like the red sea, your tongue like a chariot charged forward into the waiting paradise of my mouth walls crashed behind me, as the dust of my past vanished there was a covenant between us a bond taking us beyond the stars no ending, into eternity we would breath life into one another forever living in a garden within our minds and souls I had been like Lazarus, but your hand, your voice raised my death like state I again felt alive This resurrection, finding a new body and mind breathing the freshness of your fragrant flesh as we make love by the moon’s glow and wake to birdsong in the morning the fires of hell could never touch me with heat the way your touch burns, and tortures me I want more, I beg, and you comply only 144,00 shall enter the gates of heaven I know with you I am there, in your arms for your heart is paved with gold © Copyright 2001 1st Poet Inc.
