Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Chinese Rug A tapestry teasing to the eye and mind colors blended weaving worlds together Empires embroidered red squares, golden eyes and dragon fire stitched together for feet to feel are embers embedded in the coal-like black fibers? etchings that are burnt to memory by historical teachings rolled onto parchment, then fabric aged linens laying upon floors how many nights of practiced Kama-Sutra are absorbed here if these lips traced in red thread could talk what stories would unravel from ancient times traveled © Copyright 2002 1st Poet Inc.
