If You Find Me
By 1stpoet
If You Find Me If you find me naked I ask only for warmth perhaps a blanket a shroud to protect me from elements fear, and pain Can bare skin and souls be kept from that which will burn or cut, freeze? If you find me hungry what will stop the pangs of desire and emptiness within a body and mind searching for sustenance both physical and emotional Will I be satiated by sensuality? If you find me thirsting shed tears of joy to my parched lips the entrance to a desert waiting again for growth I blow like sand, drifting alone will I form a dune for you to climb claiming me as your own If you find me sleeping ask am I dreaming of you for if I am let me sleep, contented in my bliss Or wake me with a kiss then clothe me, feed me, and quench my every desire. © Copyright 2002 1st Poet Inc.
