Old Before my Time (with Photo)

Old Before My Time White is the color of old age sad as it may seem For on the eyes are cataracts no more that youthful gleam Teeth forever glistening soaking in a glass and a baggy diaper has made me loose my class My brain is white also no more that shade of gray like an empty page within a book no words can thoughts convey growing old before my time some think I've gotten dense I sit at home in ragged sweats When I once was eloquent fingers frail and gnarled barely hold this shaking pen I wish I could again be a child at that blissful age of ten Age is oh so greedy It took away my prime I live my life to the fullest while I still may have the time.
