Poetic Pondering

By 1stpoet

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Poetic Pondering I write verse that ventures to my mind at times when coffee, or sleep have wakened thought and my muse it seems in my writings that people read the words and want to place me at the scene of the crime the bliss the love or even the seashore at sunset I have not a dog, nor a lover yet to see and touch pleasures pictured in ink is easy in incense I can smell perfume I can see a plant and think Jaded by Jade in sleep I can ride dragons and slay giants and in words I can take you to all of these places Yes I ponder on poetry I delve into thought to tempt fingers to feather the keyboard bring black to the white page and allow you to see my world however real or imaginative it is it lives in Poetry © Copyright 2002 1st Poet Inc.
