Shrouded
By 1stpoet
Shrouded She was shrouded, and my perceptions of this angel were clouded upon her head she wore an enormous hat what color hair was under that? was it red as fire, or golden like straw I have no idea, the hat was all I saw glasses on her face secluded her eyes were they green as grass, or blue like the sky I have no idea what was behind those frames of her eyes was she ashamed she also wore this enormous coat within my mind visions did float I could not tell if she were thin or fat so staring from my park bench I just sat upon her legs were these baggy slacks the color gray of railroad tracks oh, just a glimpse of those legs please oh please, this I beg I could not even see her feet, she wore big shoes girl watching is giving me the blues I would love to touch her hands of love but you guessed it, she even wore gloves of how she looked, this I asked covered by a clothing mask she still remains the girl of my dreams since nothing of her is ever seen © Copyright 2002 1st Poet Inc.
