The Its

The Its’ The Its’ bought a house that was fine and said “it’s a grand place, let’s have some wine” so the Its’ drank the wine, found it divine then cried when the bottle ran dry The Its’ house stood on a hill It’s a hard one to climb said It Jill But with bucket she trod, and Jack like a clod fell down and both buckets did spill they said being an It does not give one rest it’s so hard being Its’, at its best so their names they did test and concluded they were in a jam for some would use their name in vain The Its’ knew that it’s quite a pain when their name was spoken, was the apostrophe “pokin” yet in print it’s always quite plain.
