Three J Hell ( a drinking poem)

By 1stpoet

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Three J Hell I came home with my three friends I pray the night quickly ends Jose, Jack and Jim kept things alive Now to the toilet my head does dive I was earlier feeling no pain Those three held all of my brain For I was tougher than Dirty Harry Smarter than Einstein And sexier than Ricky Riccardo The bed is moving across the room How do I end my time of doom? I made it home, where is my car Which one of us drove from the bar? That worm I ate to win the bet Is now my biggest regret Elephants pink, and frogs galore Are dancing on my bedroom floor This hell I am living in Why did I let it begin? Jose, Jack and Jim you see Alone are fine, but not all three Maybe I should find a new friend Rum and tequila, you think they blend Or maybe something mixed with coke No, the fizz would make me choke I think I will start a fad Mix vodka with Ole Grand Dad Call it an old fart, or maybe King Tutt That drink would knock you on your butt No, if I end up on my can I just might smoke Jamaican Then I won’t have bottles when I’m done They say the green stuff is lots of fun Nope, again that starts with J That joint to get me through the day I will stick to booze because It’s perfectly legal to catch this buzz William Dawes July 2000 Written December 17th, 2001 © on Dec 17 2001 08:37 AM PST   0 • 1
