Timescape If we have come from worlds distant times of old, transported to this moment we find life to be a glimpse of dreams I, a knight bold in valor chivalrous, I shine in the eyes of your heart I ride steady on your thoughts as you dance upon clouds of sleep You, a fair maiden that a squire would desire your love is my armor, for it keeps me secure in times of separation Each second that passes we change to settings strange yet familiar in texture the clear air of the mountains surrounds us I, the strong warrior upon Mustang bronzed by sunlight You, singing by the river washing hair as long as my arms I long to reach out and touch you to smell the sage upon your body pull the ties of the buffalo skin and watch it fall to the ground around you your body shining in the moonlight and then I am taken back to this moment where I see your brown eyes watching me there as I write © Copyright 2001 1st Poet Inc.
