The Frog

By Alain

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

At dusk, Amidst the shadowy misty fog. A green frog rests peacefully sitting on a waterlily. A flail, a swagger, and a flutter, is all the unsuspecting dragonfly perceives as its caught and swallowed in midflight terror. The frog lies still wallowing in midnight tales. Wondering what his next meal will entail. Written April 15th, 2002 © on Apr 15 2002 11:41 AM PST   0 • 13
