Kingdom's Deliverance (Challenge Poem)

By AmberDawn

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Seventy Five years of unrest sent me on my quest to find the perfect Queen one with youth, strengh and an unwavering spirit My search was long and tedious but my four legs kept moving wit desperate determination and then.... on one glorious Spring day I found her I rejoiced! My tired feline legs carried me to her where I cautiously approached her she was perfect a young tomboy, with a spirit of gold! I told her my wishes and she enthusiastically obliged proclaiming this as her big opportunity her chance to prove that she was worth something but more importantly to show the world that underneath that tough exterior and that playful boyish attitude was a sweet little girl a true woman to be birthed Again I rejoiced! I thanked the Gods for deliverance I celebrated my great fortune to find this young lady so perfect for the throne I will never forget Coronation Day The day my Kingdom was saved! This is what I posted to k-chan's challenge about a talking cat approaching a tomboy to be the Queen of a Kingdom after seventy five years with no rule!
