'Shadows Of Love'

By ambersred

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

All that is the rage in me, subsides to silent waves in breath. To all that listen w/ there hearts & not there minds. Settle for the smallest soul in need. Tasting only lust & blindful aching greed. I sit & wonder how can this be? what is the difference between you & me. Too many nights of conflicted sorrow barried at it's best. To hide whats true deep beneath our vision; lyes the hardest test. Indeed love burns in the strangest places of our souls. Giving selflessness a meaning all it's own. It is not forgotten all that i have shared w/ you. A thousand nights & days still fill my heart w/ praise. Never gave so much, never bled so much! in this life of mine. I'll always feel your blessed spirit w/ mine. This is only a very small piece of my poetry. As i have yet to post other's. Would like to hear from you in any case. Thanks for reading, Ambersred.
