A Vision
In a dark tent, A woman sits, Very quiet, Very still. Looking into her crystal ball, Leaning closer and closer. Not looking you not even for a moment. Her eyes widen, As she looks deeper and deeper, Into the future. The woman very slowly sits up. She has no expression on her face, Her eyes close. “I have seen the future.” She said in a whisper. As she continued, her eyes opened. “Lightning will flash, Skies will darken, The moon and stars Will no longer be seen by human eyes. Men will fall to their knees, And cry for help, For the end will be near. And the indescribable pain of death Will be closer than ever expected. The rotting, The curdling, The stench of death, Which will strike fear, And invigorate every living creature On Earth. While the shadow of the Grim Reaper Lurks in the darkness, Searching for your eternal soul, So to burn it in the pits of Hell. Will this stop you From leading Man to victory? The end is close, For I saw it in a vision. Are you ready for it?” Written February 8th, 2002 © on Feb 08 2002 09:25 AM PST 0 • 9
