When I am sad, You stop my tears, make me glad, And bring a song to my ears. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. When I am wrong, You tell me so. You teach me lessons lifelong, And everywhere with me they go. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. When I am confused, You push me to achieve. Your timeless knowledge used- You make me believe. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. When I am lonely, You are there for me. Our time spent together is lovely. You are the best company. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You are a friend, a shoulder, a place to fall- Unlike any other. But, most of all, You are the greatest mother!I wrote this poem for my mother on her 41st B-day.
