Your unfathomable love
By Apophthegm
I never cared to look into your eyes To fathom its love for me, Never had I felt it won’t demise- My ecstasy was your only glee. You wanted my shoulder to cry upon And I never heeded your tears, Your compassions for me weighted a ton But I never even called you ‘my dear’. Your worries for me never stopped; I deemed it so inane, Now that my heart got well mopped I grasp that I was all profane. The lusts I craved for was dead as bust Was only a fleeting delight, And to ply me with bliss was your only lust I was never lost from your sight. I love you now, I’ll love you forever I swear I’ll never stop, Please come back and don’t go ever I vow that my love won’t clog. I cry in vain and you’re there unstrained In the dome of the virtuous souls; I shed my tears at your epitaph unstained- Our love had never reached its goals.
