Alone

By Arabian Knight

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Alone I sit and face the sea waves so vibrant ..birds so free winds that dance with ecstacy I sit alone my dear... I wish I was the flowing wave to flow to your remote enclave and be your eyes most humble slave and guard you from your fear... I wish I was a bird of grace to fly throughout the open space and land beside your lucious face and wipe your dripping tear... I wish I was the wind so light to blow across the gloomy night and surely we can then unite and prove our love sincere... Still alone I sit and pray will we meet another day and ask myself is there a way to move our bodies near... Only hopes are what remain and only hopes will keep me sane and help control my burning pain until your eyes appear... Written January 27th, 2000 © on Jul 02 2000 05:20 AM PST   0 • 8
