In the Heat of the Moment
By Aroura Eden
The pure formula It stings your own eyes to think The words that come The words that go The confusion in your mind Your tongue is not so sweet But, all the same, you must have leave You only said it because of the heat in the room The rage in the air You only said it because of the moment (right?) The moment is as its self a hell all its own It causes you not to think And it makes you say things you really don’t mean (I hope that is it, I hope that is all) But what has been said can not be taken back I have felt it I know its fury This feeling reeks of filth I know you meant most of it Those words you would not have spoken in sound mind (Or were you) But they came It scares me to hear those words And further more it terrifies me to repeat them I won’t, I won’t repeat them But just so you know I will not turn my back on this I will remember what you said And I will dwell on these words It will make me sick But that’s just me That’s the way I amA certain someone said something to me, which will not be repeated in order to eliminate it from my mind, and I have to let it out some way. So this is how it has become. This is my explination for what he said and why he said it. I hope I was not the cause of his anger. I'm dwelling again I have to let this go.
