~Ashes To Ashes~

Far away, exploiting my name While These  bending arrows Peel away the scabs and devotion From silence and milky pours To seraphic understudies ==with sleeves too short== She stutters when she’s calm The insides mingling with your father’s hands And the world seems a bit clearer Can you take me elsewhere The noise was angry and demanding The king was bottomless and forgiving But he wanted it all My cold hands are eager midgets Scolded for the window ^being opened too wide^ The mouth just shutters When fed... the air regorges And when I’m back in place ...I’m willing and slavish My knees are filthy with prayers ||and alcohol// An elbow in my thigh... Reminding me of thirst and exposure I crumble, I forsake Among the ashes and imbecility You’ll find my broken promises         of ~~Forever~~woo Written February 24th, 2002 © on Feb 24 2002 07:16 AM PST    18 • 0 • 16
